Malita Foundation is a Community Based Organization (CBO) dedicated to fostering societal development through both formal and non-formal channels. At the same time, Malita Foundation operates as an independent institution with a strong academic orientation. Founded out of shared passion and collective experience, the foundation aims to nurture, accommodate, and develop the intellectual potential of young people in their pursuit of knowledge. It actively collaborates with various organizations and selected institutions to expand its reach and impact. Established in 2025 under Notarial Deed No. 13 dated October 17, 2025, Malita Foundation was initiated by a group of academics and practitioners with distinguished track records in community service, education, research, and scholarly publication both nationally and internationally including publications in Scopus-indexed journals. The foundation is firmly committed to advancing community engagement, education, and research, particularly by strengthening the capacity of academic communities.

As a platform for academic growth Malita Foundation offers a range of strategic programs designed to enhance human resource quality. These include scientific writing workshops, discussion forums, seminars, and talk shows that address key issues in community service, education, and research. All activities are structured to foster an inclusive and dynamic scholarly ecosystem, encouraging active engagement across disciplines.

One of the foundation’s flagship initiatives is its scientific publishing service through the Open Journal System (OJS), known as the Malita Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (MALDIS). MALDIS serves as an academic outlet for research findings across interconnected fields. Rather than being limited to a single discipline, the journal embraces a wide spectrum of topics such as social sciences, education, economics, law, health, technology, politics, environment, and the humanities. The core mission of MALDIS is to promote interdisciplinary collaboration that leads to comprehensive solutions for real-world challenges. Through an integrative approach, the journal provides opportunities for researchers to combine theories, methods, and perspectives from diverse academic domains. In doing so, MALDIS not only broadens academic horizons but also contributes meaningfully to the development of knowledge that is responsive to contemporary societal needs.
